This is the latest, posted by @EMPIRETECANDY :

I have been running it for a couple of weeks now on 2 cameras, with no issues so far. But, as always use at your own risk. FWIW.

Fixed camera should be OK, normally PTZ/NVR has risk to flash if the FW version big time difference.

Hi Andy,

I was searching firmware for this model IPC-T3241T-ZAS. Currently my camera came with:

System Version V2.800.15OG003.0.R Build Date: 2022-01-18
WEB Version 3.2.1.1179647
ONVIF Version 20.06(V2.9.1.1000915)

At the dahua download center it has DH_IPC-HX3XXX-Taurus_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V3.000.0000000.8.R.220429 and says compatible with IPC-HDW3241T-ZS-S2 .

Will this version work? Thanks.

They are not the same version, so just use the 2022 Jan version. In Aug will have a new fw to be released.

Hi @EMPIRETECANDY
where is the firmware located from your July 20th, 2022 message? When I click on the link, it takes me to the product page at the IPCAMtalk store, but there isn't a tab or link for the latest firmware. You firmware on message #1 has a download link that says it has been deleted.

@jmltech I just checked and clicking on the link brought me right to the download.

Thanks. I cleared my web cache and re-logged into ipcamtalk. The download is now working. Previously it gave an error that the file couldn’t be found… hence the reason I thought the file was deleted.

this is the camera I won from Andy’s lottery. Just got it going this morning and am having problems with focusing. If I zoom in a little, the focusing goes all the way to one extreme, then back to the other, then tries going in and out about 5 times before settling, but not quite focused. Hoping a firmware update will help, since resetting to defaults a couple of times didn’t make a difference.

Focus depends on your field of view, and what object it is focusing on.
You can use "Easy Focus" to tell it where to focus in the FOV.

I don't have an icon on the main 'live' screen for easy focus. The only two icons I have is a camera (for snapshot) and a speaker (for audio)
I did update the firmware... it was the same firmware that was already on the camera as shipped.

Under "Settings", "Camera", "Conditions", then on the "Zoom and Focus" tab there is a button on the bottom of camera view that has the same symbol as what you show, which says "Auto Focus". I tried that and it worked well. Thanks for the pointer.AutoFocus.jpg
