Attention, have to be V1 1/1.8CMOS . The latest V2/S2 can't use.

Thanks Andy! I was worried as it is EOL, that we wouldn't be seeing another update. Glad to see at least one more today. Gonna try it out now.
No worry, i always post the update here to make sure all buyers from us can get the latest new FW, not just always sell new models.

In camera web interface, under Information, version, the device type (IPC-HFW1831E) is removed. ONVIF version updated from 16.12 to 18.12. Web version updated from 3.2.1.715185 to 3.2.1.1084503. Appears to work with current browsers without any plug in notification.

Something I did notice is that live streaming using any browser does not work if camera is set to H.265. If I switch the camera back to H.264 live stream works fine. My IPC-HDW5231R-ZE and IPC-HFW4231EP-SE are also set to H.265 and live view in camera web interface works fine for those models. Both of those are 2MP cameras. As a test, I lowered the resolution and bitrate of the 1831E to 4MP, 4Mb/s, and H.265 live stream returned. I would guess that the additional CPU required to run H.265 that 8MP, 6Mb/s, is pushing the CPU limit of this camera. (?)
