Big update!! NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.000.0000000.0.R.20190713

I flashed this Mod, maybe it caused the issue...
Don't you know how to downgrade or take an initial firmware for this chinese cam?

sorry, no idea

Just upgraded to 2019 firmware - all cameras work without reset. Do I need to reset NVR anyway?
And can you give me the link to 2021 firmware you mentioned? Thanks!

I just got it from Dahuas site. I have reset it just in case

OK. So far I have:
1. Issue with playback through the browser. It does not record main stream and IVS separately. It chops the main stream at the event time and saves the event as a separate file. Takes a bit to load it, so its not a smooth experience watching it through the browser. Seem to play ok through the app
2. Even though it looks like it can manage cameras, it reverts back to the old settings after some time (probably after camera reboot for maintenance). Have not checked to be sure

I think I will be going back to the old firmware. Did not see any improvements in the new one, apart from the security side of things

My 5216 has always closed the current file and created a new one when an event happens. The playback pause at the transition was a lot worse a couple of years ago than it is with newer firmware. For me, sometimes it's seamless and sometimes there's a slight pause.

A firmware update is unlikely to resolve the problems with recording via motion detection. It's more likely down to user errors.
Please elaborate on the exact problems.

It works for a few daus and after that I have two problems:
1. Motion disabled
Or
2. Motion mesh is dissapering

I presume you have carried out a NVR reboot and factory defaults, in an effort to resolve? If not? I would expect this to hopefully assist.

I don't remember if I've done a reset to defaults, but not I'm doing this.

1. Reset to defaults (except network and admin)
2. Upgrade to DH_NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.002.0000000.6.R.221115
3. I'll recreate all the options.

I hope it will work.

Motion detection activation should be active on each individual camera, separately. So to hopefully push the settings from each camera, after your update and reboot the NVR.

After i upgraded to this firmware DH_NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.002.0000000.6.R.221115 on my NVR5216-4KS2 (version 1?) motion detection on some older REVOTECH IPCs did not work anymore, audiosettings were not available any more.
