Wireless extender or hardwired nvr?

any thoughts on extender vs hardwired Internet? House is 1.2gb wired.

Wireless extender or ones that send the signal over power wires in the house?

Wireless is terrible for anything security. Only time I'd use wireless is for non crucial monitoring like a pet.

"...now going Poe"....and "House is 1.2gb wired. "....then what's the extender needed for?

FWIW, the only time I'd consider wireless in a surveillance cam schema would be:

It's not crucial and I can live without 24/7/365 dependability​

I'm using a Ubiquiti Layer 2 Transparent bridge to link a remote building instead of stringing CAT-5e cable between 2 points with LOS (Line Of Sight).​

Thanks for the input, think I can get hardwired to modem/router.
Just wanted to see what all were doing.
