Webcam not working on MSI P75 Creator 9SF

Hi everyone

I have a problem with the webcam on my MSI laptop. There's no recognition of the entire webcam by the computer. This error code is 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached>.

The device does not appear in Device Manager (not even in hidden devices).
Pressing Fn+F6 does nothing. The rest of the Fn+FX functions work perfectly.
In the Creator, Center used to appear a webcam switch, but as I write this message it isn't there anymore. The last time I checked, it was there.
The webcam switch appears to be on after I downloaded the SCM software.

After several hours of trying various methods I've read online, I still couldn't get the webcam to work. When I got the laptop, it never gave me problems like this.

I have an MSI P75 Creator 9SF and I am running Windows 10 Pro. I have checked everything. Everything is up to date. I have restarted my computer a number of times and even tried resetting the EC Firmware: still no luck. I couldn't find any drivers for the webcam on the MSI website. There's no hope for me anymore.

If you have any tips, please let me know.

I would start a ticket if it's still within warranty, so at least that's in the pipeline. One user acknowledged their cam failed.



This may be reaching but .. what if your F6 key is pooched (as well)?
