I'm suspecting that BI is no longer using the Sub Stream since my CPU percentage is 40% higher than it was after configuring Sub Streams. Is there a way to confirm BI is using the Sub Stream? I'm running the last stable release 5.3.2.2. Thanks!

According to your screenshot, BI is using the substreams otherwise they wouldn't be listed on the camera tab. Have you looked at task manager to see if it is, indeed, BI using more CPU cycles?

Lots of things on a modern computer can consume resources. It is one of the reasons I try to keep Blue Iris under 50% load during standard operation. Because the time will come that Windows is trying to update and index your hard drive at the same time as you have three remote viewing clients connected to Blue Iris, and the usage will spike really high.
