I bought 3 PoE cameras from EmpireTech-Andy via Amazon:
  1. Loryta IPC-B5442T-ASE (3.6mm Fixed Lens 4MP Starlight+ WDR IR Bullet)
  2. Loryta IPC-B5442E-ZE (4MP Starlight+ WDR IR Bullet)
  3. EmpireTech IPC-HDBW4231F-E2-M (2.8MM Lens IP Camera 2x2MP Starlight IR Mini Dome)
The first 2 cameras set up easy as cake, working great (just browsed to , was prompted for the new Admin password).

The 3rd camera (the IPC-HDBW4231F-E2-M, so-called "boobie cam") is behaving differently. First hitting it with a browser, it's prompting me to login. Searching the included and linked documents, I can find no default login credentials for this camera, so I tried the usual set of admin/admin, admin/<blank>, and some others I found online such as admin/888888, 888888/888888, 666666/666666, but no love. I messaged the seller via Amazon for assistance, but I figured someone here must know the answer to this conundrum.

Oh, and yes, I both physically reset the camera with the reset switch, power-cycled, tried the "ConfigTool", with the same result: "Login failed!" - and there is no "forgot password" link on the login page.

I must be missing something obvious and apologize in advance for whatever that may be.

Thank you!

-Rob

So I think I found the answer: You must use Internet Explorer to setup this camera.

In re-reading the Quick Start Guide again, I came across this blurb: "Open IE browser, enter the IP address of the device in the address bar and press Enter " - and I thought to my self: "Self, do you think this camera is old enough to actually require the use of Internet Explorer?" - the answer appears to be: "Yes. Yes, it is.".

<blush>

Interestingly, I bought a second IPC-HDBW4231F-E2-M ("boobie cam") and it's initializing as expected, even when hit with a modern web browser.

The first one (that required IE):
Device TypeIPC-HDBW4231F-E2-M-2.8mm
Software Version2.622.15OG000.0.R, Build Date: 2019-08-27
WEB VersionV3.2.1.780670
ONVIF Version16.12(V2.4.3.574996)

and the second one (that worked fine with modern browsers):
Device TypeIPC-HDBW4231F-E2-M-2.8mm
Software Version2.622.15OG001.0.R, Build Date: 2020-06-19
WEB VersionV3.2.1.910611
ONVIF Version16.12(V2.4.3.574996)

... both cameras purchased less than a week apart from EmpireTech-Andy.

Attempts to "Manual Check" for firmware update via the web interface on the "older" camera always fails with an error "prompt": "Check Time is Out".

Just a head's up.
