iVMS 4200 v2.4.0.6 No fast forward

I have installed IVMS 4200 v2.4.0.6 from hikvision europe, onto windows 8.1. I'm unable to get the playback for any camera to go fast, at 2x, 4x, or 8x. I use a hikvision NVR DS-7616NI SE(p).

Anybody know how to get the fast forward going?

Try selecting 1/2 speed first, then try the fast forward. I have to do this occasionally when clicking on the increase speed doesn't seem to get recognized. Clicking the slower speed once gets me the 2x, 4x, 8x again. It's intermittent but I haven't figured out what's triggering the bug.

I was able to get ivms-4200 into fast forward. 1. Assign the NVR to a new IP address. 2. When installing Ivms, reply yes to all of the requests to open holes in the windows firewall, for cgi/fastcgs. nginx.exe, ivms-4200, streamserverapp.
