I have an observatory that takes images in the in the infrared (Hydrogen alpha band) and I can run it from my house. I would like to remotely monitor the telescope to make sure no cables are getting tangled. If I turn on the LEDs, my exposure is ruined.

Currently I used a camera that does have IR LEDs on it but I must turn them off during imaging. (Imaging can last many hours).

Is there such a camera with this kind of night vision?

thanks

The color camera mentioned above with a dim white light source would probably work. The led white light source may need an IR cut filter added. Or possibly a blue LED light source.

If you could see well enough in person with eyes adjusted to the dark, then a dahua full color starlight should see at least as well when set to allow its maximum exposure (1/3 second).
