I am wanting to set up a couple of cameras in corridor mode in a small office (indoor).

Does anyone here have experience with having done that?

My thought was to either use the turret or the dome version of the 5231 Dahua, and place the camera as far away as i can at maximum zoom in corridor mode to maximize the collateral value of the hall and other doors beyond the primary. since the door is only 3 ft wide, I am thinking that no reasonable amount of zoom will be too much (too narrow).

The dome shape is nice indoors due mainly to the fact that it tends to blend in a bit more, and not draw ones attention like the happy face of the turrets.

Another thought is to try to get a 6mm lens version of the mini-wedge. it is much smaller and lower cost, but smaller optics with poorer F stop speed.

I would like to see installed images of what others have done before I move ahead.
