How to delete (non-existant) cams from NVR PoE ports so I can add other cams from LAN?

Messing around with a Hik NVR 7608NI-E2/8P (fw vers 3.4.103), I have 2 cams connected and working on the PoE ports,
and it seems to 'see' other hikvision cams out my home network, but I'm unable to add any of them since it thinks i have 8 cams already.

So i try to delete the cams from the PoE ports that don't have anything connected, but I can't (see photo).
Seriously? I can't delete non-existant cameras? Seems kinda backwards...
How can I free up some of those unused PoE ports so I can add cams from my network (up to the limit of 8)?

TIA, Paul.

The channels linked to PoE ports are pre-defined and can't be deleted.
To re-allocate a PoE channel for a LAN-connected camera, set the channel to Manual from Plug&Play, and change the IP address to the LAN IP address of the LAN-connected camera.

Of all the things i had tried, that wasn't one of 'em, but of course that works!
Like many Apple and Facebook interfaces, it's 'intuitive', once you know it...
Thanx, Alastair.

You are by far from the only person who has puzzled over that!
It's certainly one of the things that's obvious when you know it, but not before.
