Hi,

I'm trying to understand the hikvision format when using the nfs feature. Besides filling the nfs mount with 256MB mp4 files, when it start recording on motion detection, it adds a picture per mp4 files and record to that file till it gets to the 256MB and switch to the next one. There's 4 binary files, index00.bin, index01.bin and their respective *p.bin files. I'm trying to figure out where to get the time at which the recording started. They probably are keeping some time of time stamp (beginning of recording) with the name (or index #) of the mp4 file and some kind of index in that file to know where they should start the playback. Looking at the binary file in binary or hex does not really help. Does anyone knows?

Thanks,

Vin
