Hi,

I have a legacy Hikvision DS-7208HGHI-SH DVR with 7 cameras (all Hikvision Turbo HD 720p) that I have integrated with Blue Iris via RTSP.

My issue is that for the life of me I cannot set the stream resolution of the Turbo HD cameras to 720p - the max the DVR shows is 960*575 (960H) - about half the resolution that they should be (as below):

According to the spec of the DVR, it is supposed to support 720p real time, and 1080p non-real time - see below:

Any ideas as to how to set the resolution to 720p would be greatly appreciated.

All sounds bizarre! Seems you have cameras that are not capable of those resolutions that the DVR can support. I would isolate the RTSP for BI, just in case it's causing a conflict?

It is really bizarre - I have tried isolating the BI stream.

Only thing I can think left to try is to isolate with a single test camera (there are other 960H units also connected)

3 of the cameras in question are as below - definitely 720p capable...

In actual fact I think you are correct that the camera is causing the issue. I checked on an un-used channel and could select right up to 1080p.

The coax cabling to the camera is rather old so will test with a new piece and also CAT5e with trancievers.

Thanks for the suggestions.
