Hi,
I'm planning to buy a few Hikvision DS-2CD2086G2-I(U) cameras (don't know yet which specific variants): DS-2CD2086G2-I(U)
No official support for IFTTT, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings or another platform is known AFAIK.
Is there a way to make them smart home aware? For example, through Home Assistant? I've seen 2 integrations for Hikvison cameras, so I guess so, but as a smart home beginner I'm trying to find out how far I can go with these cameras on the smart home front. For example, let's say a Philips Hue bulb should light up, when motion is detected on a particular Hikvision camera: is this possible? If so, through Home Assistant? Otherwise stated: can I use a Home Assistant Hikvision integration to build further on it, but coupling an event from such an integration to the activation of a Philips Hue bulb?
Another option could be the Homey app for Hikvision, although it doesn't seem too sure how well this app would work with the aforementioned Hikvision camera model...
Other ideas?
