Is anyone running a Hik DS-7616NI-E2/16P with two HDDs larger then 8TB each? Looking to upgrade from two 8TB to two 10TB or 12TB. Most documentation is out of date, where as it can take bigger drives then listed because those drives were not available at the time the documentation was written.

Do you have the latest firmware? I'm at 3.4.106 Build 191009.
That might affect storage size because it did fix a lot of other bugs and add SMART monitoring, but it's Hikvision, so no guarantees and asking them might be an exercise in futility.

Thanks, I'm at V3.4.96 build 181107 but I'm not about to upgrade just for more storage since it's been working for many years with no issues. The old "if it ain't broke don't fix it" thing comes to mind, lol.
