Dahua release a 60 PTZ again after 1 year of lack of chips. Attached file is the detials.


They also release another Water conservancy field Exclusive PTZ .SD8A840XA-HNP-WP

Just what I need for the lake!

The water level detection and AI boat detection are two features that would be neat to have vs the 49225 that I currently use. If you need someone to review a unit, I'd be happy to accommodate!

How much is the 2MP / 60X PTZ?

Just release still no price, will post later when i get it. This 60X PTZ size is bit smaller than before 10inch PTZ.

That water PTZ is a special device, currently all dahua PTZ not support autotracking on vessels/boat

Any idea if they will offer updates to allow for autotracking boats? I've got 2 PTZs down at the lake but autotracking only works if a person is clearly visible on the boat.

Idealy Can do, but normally they will not add this function for end users for a special use.

Hey Andy, can you clear this up?
Specs day it's 60X zoom at the beginning but further down in other text it says 40 and states focal length as 5.5mm to 220mm, which does compute to 40 (220 / 5.5=40).

So is it 60X or 40X?

I think it’s two different cameras: a 2MP 60x and an 8MP 40x. The 40x is the specialized camera for the water conservancy field.
