After ton of reading and research for the past week, I am getting closer to a plan for my install. Orders have been placed and I need some guidance to see if there are any issue with this plan (Network Diagram)

Anything in RED on the diagram I am not sure about the placement and /or issues I might encounter.

Such as:
  • Surge protectors
  • PoE injectors
  • PoE splitters

Other than feeling overwhelmed most of the time, I am enjoying the learning curve.

Very impressive diagram.

Guessing you have a very specialised use scenario to use illumination with those cams.

My only point of feedback is, how are you going to QOS the PTZ stream across the nano stations?

The plan is not to fail, but things happen. Limited knowledge, means I more likely to make a few newb errors. As for the Diagram itself I used a 30 day evaluation version of Edraw Max. Although, It might have been easier to do in photoshop.
I'm happy to share the Edraw custom libraries and files if anyone is interested.

Yes and no. One illuminator will be tested to see if it helps the Z12 (red Zone on coverage map). The Z12 will be zoomed to a choke point (190 ft ).
The Second Nayr-Cannon will be tested in a few loactions, it will probably end up on the 'middle shed' pointing to rear of house.
Its probably overkill, but may come in handy when adding more cameras down the track.

The PTZ will be connected by cable to BI in the office. The Z12 will have to stream across the Nanostations for captures.
I breifly looked into QOS, according to Dahua Wiki i can set the DSCP on each camera. The Nanostations read the IP Header DSCP field and prioritize accordingly.
If I set the DSCP to Voice (63/max) it should priorotize over the kids streaming videos from the plex server in the office.
The only concern I have with the setup is for remote viewing via the app.
Can select a substream for remote viewing that is suited for the BI app?
