Any one got a trim ring for a DS-2CD2342WD-I?

Hi all,

Does anyone have a trim ring or know where I can get one for the Turrent captioned?

I have a fairly new one, but I've never been able to get the ring on. I've have the camera down and in my lap, but even then I cannot get the bugger to go on at all.

I attach a photo with the obvious part arrowed




I'm based in the UK so somewhere fairly local would be amazing.

don't tighten the mount screws so tight. it is almost impossible to do in your hands too. So mount to the wall or ceiling and leave a little play in the screws.

Yeah I tried to loosen the screws but it was off the wall at the time. Will try again when I refit it.
The 2335.s I have went on with no issues.

I've had this same problem especially when you use a drill to install it will sink the camera base a little bit into the dry wall and then the wall keeps the tabs from aligning up on the ring. Loosening the screws helped. i also had this trouble when installing on the optional junction box for outdoor instillation. the foam gives and makes it impossible to get that ring on.
