aiinput folder -> on SSD or spinning drive?

Hi all.

Just trying to get things going to the best places if at all possible.

I have 15 cameras and am using Deepstack.
The OS is on an SSD and I have the db going there.
The recorded video is going to my 10TB WD Surveillance drive.

My question is:
Where should the aiinput folder live? On the SSD or a spinning drive?

When I used AITools I had that folder on my SSD but be warned depending on your triggers it may well fill up really quickly, not too sure if there were updates to AITools to manage the folder.

Thank you for the replies. It really sounds like I'm not very current.
I have the CPU version of Deepstack running. This was after much trial and error.
I can't seem to find a definitive procedure for how to get Deepstack running on my GPU - just a bunch of threads that talk about doing it but they seem to be old information.
My system has a GTX 1080 GPU and I couldn't find directions to get it running (probably my shortcoming but I did my best!).
Somehow I stumbled on the CPU version of Deepstack and it's working but I have to wonder if the GPU version is better and would like to try it.

Can someone point me to a thread or something that will get me going?

So even when using the new DeepStack way there is an Alerts folder that i think holds jpg files to be analized by deepstack, should that be in ssd or mechanical?

The answer is to put anything that writes files frequently or constantly on a platter drive and not an SSD drive.
