I had 4.0.0.5 installed as 64 bit running on Server 2008. I received the notification for the 4.0.0.6 update and clicked on OK. The upgrade failed, it wanted mfc100.dll. I already have the 2010 x64 redist installed. I then installed the 32bit x86 version of the 2010 redist and tried the upgrade again and it worked. This is the second time I have had to install a 32 bit version of the the redistributables to get v4 to work even though I only installed the 64 bit version of the software. Am I doing something wrong? edit spelling:
