3am burglary suspect vehicle

neighbor knocked on my door today said someone broke into his house 3am yesterday while they were gone. I review my LPR and one suspect vehicle got a great plate capture second vehicle had blocked the plate with black tape got partial plate 5xxxx64. looks like I need to do some minor adjusting for better capture. I need more cameras

I'm not an LPR guy but that first pic looks perfect to me. Clearly visible plate and very readable. No way to counter someone covering their plate.
