Dahua never owned FLIR.

Dahua bought parts of FLIR which FLIR had bought themselves eg: Lorex.
FLIR did some OEM and arguably lessened the brand name - probably up til the point that someone in govt mentioned playing with chinese "toys" might affect military contracts. <Cough> NDAA.
No doubt some technology transfer took place, Dhaua was using lepton cores for example at one point.
