Stitching multiple cameras together into Pano?

Hey there, I was curious if there is a setting in BI I am missing to let me stitch 2 or more cameras together into a panoramic single shot? Guessing there isnt and if there could be it would be CPU intensive... but figure I'd ask if anyone knows how to possibly do that.

Ghosting, stuttering, dropped frames - I found a solution?

So... I havent had a problem with ghosting for a long time. I migrated to a standard desktop CPU from a U series CPU in a NUC a few years ago and never looked back. well... until last week. I needed some space and wanted to get rid of some old hardware so I looked to move my BI...

Older APK versions of the BI App? Looking to get my widgets working again.

Well, I have no issue paying for support, it was just a bit shady to essentially say " ohh we broke the app?? Please pay to get it fixed" that's NOT how the industry actually works. And I paid for the app a couple times on multiple platforms over the years, only went Android in the last...

Older APK versions of the BI App? Looking to get my widgets working again.

I am looking to go back to the last version that had Widgets that work on Android... After the dev broke the app and I msg'd him about the widgets being broken over a month ago, the response was essentially that I need to renew my support subscription. Which on its own, is not a big issue, but...

    4.8.1 - September 20, 2018

After the full database rebuild, it fixed everything. Just applying the update doesn't fix it on its own.

Im trying to rebuild my DB, as the UI3 alert playback is still broken at 4.8.1.2 for me.

    Blue Iris Hardware Recommendations

That and BI really struggles with mobile spec processors (the U series and such)... I've yet to get BI to do hardware offloading successful on any U spec proc even when they support quicksync and are gen 4+ procs.

I also just received that same version (attached - different file name and from the HDview support guys), and installed it and will see what it does tonight. Funny we both got the same version the same day from different people :)

HDView 3MP Megapixel IP Network Camera ONVIF PoE

Yep that is the same firmwware that screwed mine up. When I get the rollback firmware from HDView (if I get it) I will post it here. Also, I know a guy named Jeff DeWolfe in WI, and you look kinda like him. That would he funny if you are the same guy. Joe

HDView 3MP Megapixel IP Network Camera ONVIF PoE

Yeah the firmware does not have a "day/night" mode specifically, but the IRCut feature doesn't seem to work right currently. It would work fine under LDR Auto before. Now none of the settings make the sensor any better with the IR illumination. so its like the IRCut is just locked on...

HDView 3MP Megapixel IP Network Camera ONVIF PoE

The IR LEDs are on, I can see them on after the firmware update (dull red lights around the lens). Even had HDView guys login to the camera to verify the settings in the UI (which was a pain to punch the camera through my network to the internet...) It's like the sensor isnt switching modes...

HDView 3MP Megapixel IP Network Camera ONVIF PoE

The brighter pic here is night time with no significant ambient light and no light nearby. The dark one is the post firmware update... (HDView is getting me the rollback firmware after the Chinese New Year in a couple weeks). For a $50 PoE camera, it kicks my more expensive Hikvision camera's...

HDView 3MP Megapixel IP Network Camera ONVIF PoE

So I got one of these 3MP cameras and they are not bad... But do NOT upgrade the firmware. I am working with HDView to get a rollback firmware because the new one kills the night vision on the camera. Just ordered the last 2 3MP off Amazon from them (I need some backup cameras and at $40...

BlueIris GPU acceleration corruption for Foscam?

Hey everyone. I have a BI instance (running Win10x64, on a i5-3475S all current drivers and BI versions) I have 6 cameras, 4 Hikvision, 1 off brand (but Sony Starlight sensor), and a Foscam R2. All of them work great with the Hardware acceleration turned on (except for the Foscam)...

    Blue Iris Hardware Recommendations

Hey guys, So I have had to migrate off a laptop I was using for my BI NVR. it had a 4310U proc (2Core, low power). The machine I put in has a 2400S (4 physical core, lower power). The 2400S has Quicksync support, but BI doesnt seem to be using it much as the CPU is still around 40-50% with...

    Amazon Echo commands

I have yet to be able to get this to work, I have 2 Dots, Wink, and a number of devices in my smart home setup already. I was curious if this was due to my router (its an R7000, but not running stock firmware, running Tomato USB by Shibby. I enabled uPNP for this detection, disabled the...

Worked fine - then went Direct-to-Disk and now image corruption when there is movement...

No VPP being used in this case. I read that initially that people had issues with that. I am still doing more testing just installed latest NIC, Disk controller, and chipset drivers to see if that has any impact.

So I've made a breakthrough of sorts. Turning off the intel hardware acceleration on the camera in question results in clean video going direct to disk and playback. I've tried 3 different video drivers and the latest/greatest one as well, and all exhibit the same issues. This is a 4th Gen...

So I've tested with the keepalives on and off, lower bit rate, main profile, high profile, variable, and constant bit rate, and other settings. the laptop running this is at 30% CPU use with all 4 cameras going direct to disk recording. Looking closely I am seeing some other artifacts too...

Yep switched to that yesterday. I also was looking at a switch setting and enabled flowcontrol on the port. It shouldn't be an issue since the data is coming from a 100mb port to a 1GB port (flowcontrol generally works with data going the other way to avoid overloading buffers on the slower...

Worked fine - then went Direct-to-Disk and now image corruption when there is movement...

I'll try the disabling the RTSP/Keepalives. A Netstat -S shows a pretty clean network. The entire house network is brand new run CAT6A that each link was tested to 10GB speeds. So I think a 8Mbit data stream over a 1GB connection shouldn't be pushing it too hard.

So... just for the hell of it, I knocked the iframe count down to 5 frames (15 frame rate on the feed) and .... I dont see any ghosting or corruption in the video now viewing the web feed... but I still see some on the mobile app and in the actual BI console itself...

I've discovered something interesting. When I export a clip that is corrupted in playback from BI itself. When I view the clip from the web player, mobile player, or in BI itself I see this: When I export/convert the clip out of BI into a standard MP4 container I get this: So either the...

Everything is hard wired, no Wifi in the mix. The main haul between switches in my house is actually 10Gbit :) and I have QoSed the camera traffic even. (which in total is around 50Mbit over a 10Gbit link :) The NVR machine is connected via 1Gbit wired. And yes I have BI at 20FPS and the...

Have people seen a dramatic impact on video quality dropping down to that level with 4MP cams? I know there is a cliff in h264 encoding where when you drop below that bit rate that the quality goes to crap. Not sure where it is with a video stream that big though.
