Yes for most normal users this camera is good enough to go. 1. For this camera's browser we never use the IE anymore, do on chorme always good. But we are Windows, what is your Mac version i can check with dahua. 2. For Issue 2, i am waiting dahua to give us some further guide. Will watch on this.
