Hello:

I have been running Blue Iris for a few years and for some reason, the main screen displaying the cameras remains static ( e.g. frozen)
computer specs

Device name DESK
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
Device ID 2827C40E-F4F6-4AB6-8507-A47A8D725BE1
Product ID 00330-50550-81817-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display
Windows 10 Pro

It works perfectly on a remote computer using UI3 interface and it records just fine. I have done all the optimizing and CPU usage for 5 cameras is about 20% and memory about 45%.
I am using a double NIC and the Blue iris is on a VLAN using a Synology RT6600 ( which is the best router I evern owned)

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Check the pause button on the top right of the live display. Didnt even realize synology was in the router space. Checking it out now.

Thank you so much. Senior moment, I never even noticed that before!!
It requires a long press - but that may not be the case in earlier versions.
As an aside I looked into the Synology RT6600 and it appears to be a great home/small office option particularly for the vlan functionality. At 300 its a bit more than some of the alternatives but it does have some nice flexibility and easy to use user interface.
