Looks like a 4MP version of the original booby cam on essentially the same sensor size. The 4MP does add AI to it. Wonder if both cams can use IVS at the same time.

While this camera does fill a niche role and I do have two of them, if it is on the same CPU as the 2MP, then this one will struggle. And run even hotter than the 2MP.

Do you know if any of the limitations of the 2MP version has been addressed in this version?

Still not know, will grab one to test and then know, lol. Will check how is the low light working for 2mp and the 4mp.

I got a couple of these cams yesterday and the issues with the 2mp version have been addressed--i.e., IVS and AI features work on both channels and the camera temperature is normal, not hot. The form factor is smaller than the 2mp version. The lenses are closer together and the camera footprint is the size of the wedge cams. When outer case is removed, the lenses do not require a screw to be loosened to adjust the lens position. Only gripe is that the firmware (dated July 30, 2021) requires a plug-in for both IE and Chrome. But the camera runs very stable and with the smaller form factor, I think will be a very attractive option to get two cams from one.

That is awesome! Sounds like they took all the "complaints" to heart and produced a camera that is very capable and fills a great niche and need for many of us. Time to save to replace my existing ones LOL.

Yep. I'm looking forward to reducing my Deepstack CPU usage for the 4 2mp cams (2 cams x 2 sensors) that I'm replacing these with.

Interesting looking camera. Now I just need to create a situation that this camera will provide a solution for, so I can create a justification for the head CFO to approve expenditures for my personal R&D projects......

Any ballpark idea on price, Andy? Any reason it wouldn't be viewable on MAC OS?
