To be fair, most of where the Government gets these brands are from the contractors they hired.
the contractors know very well that those brands are not to be used in public area/government buildings. Enforcing the law does not mean it's the contractor's fault. People should know very well that the American tax dollar should be spent here on American-made products. The scumbags laugh at us taxpayers while shoving our tax dollars in their pockets without fixing the root cause of the problems as @wittaj stated above.

The laugh to be continued.

I discuss this issue with DH guys, right now still as a rule, not a law or a bill. I don't know too much about the difference.
But the sure thing is in the later 2 years, cams can still go on selling. Currently models with FCC still can be used. They also hire a team to appeal.
Tiktok and Xiaomi is safe now.

Rules can be implemented without being a law or a bill. That is the FCC's position, that they can implement this as a rule that implements existing law.

One related element is that there is indeed a bill that has been introduced in both the Senate and House to ban NDAA-covered companies including Dahua and Hikvision from being authorized. Whether or not that bill needs to pass or whether, as is the FCC's position that they can ban authorizations, as is, is one element of the debate.

pretty sure they already did that...sometimes I hear beeping...
The VA swears I have tinnitus... but now I'm starting to think it could be some sort of acoustic feedback or maybe the tracking chip from the COVID-19 vaccine is interfering with my hearing aid.

(Dang.....guess I need more aluminum foil inside my hat) :wtf:

There are many posts that discuss this. Be prepared to pay 3-10x if you dont want a camera from china. There are other china brands not on the banned list, like uniview.

many posts... great. search for non-chinese cameras... oops, it ignores the non and cameras parts, because they are too common of a word, and returns 1000s of results, the first 10 of which are... THIS THREAD.
