Just to confirm does SIP version of VTO and SIP version of VTH connect and work with each other?
I have upgraded to latest versions but struggling getting VTO to ring the VTH. VTH can see it but it is not fully connected.
VTO is on:
General_VTOXXX_Eng_P_16M_SIP_V4.300.0000000.2.R.20200313
VTH is on:
General_VTH151X_Eng_SIP_V4.300.0000000.8.R.20190316
Any ideas?

I managed to get it working with non sip version but its on version 3. I am hoping to use the features on V4 regards to disabling voice commands.

Guys can anyone help on getting the latest sip version working between VTO and VTH please.
So let me explain my setup, i have a VTO2000a and VTH1660, i upgraded both of them to the latest SIP versions.
I did a factory default on both, setup new password on VTO and all good.
On the VTH under search i can see the VTO, i click on add, change password to correct one and can confirm VTH changes symbol next to IP that it can now see it.
Issue is on the top right on the VTH i can still see an X on VTO indicating it is not connected.
Is there some setting i am missing? How do i get the VTO calling VTH on sip version of the firmware.

Got it working, did not realise on sip firmware i had to configure SIP side of things.

In the network configuration window, server sip of the vto you have to disable the sip and modify the values: in ip you have to go the same as in the vto, domain VDP, in the first password goes the one of the VTH, in username and password the same as the VTO, then re-enable and save the data.
In the VTH configure in the sip serer option the same IP data of the VTO, VDP domain, the password of the VTH and user and password of the VTO, sorry my English

During the 1st tests, the system works very well:
VTO to VTH call transmission: OK,
audio: OK,
video: OK.
After I finished my setup, I shut down all my system. When I started it, I had some problems:
VTO to VTH call transmission: OK,
audio: OK,
video: KO.
I have restarted the system several times without success.
I have reset the VTO and VHT to factory configuration. I reconfigured the VTO and the VTH:

I can upgrade the VTH's firmware to 4.3 but the VTO's firmware wont go above 4.0. I tried everything.
The main issue is, that the keypad wont work.
I added it in the admin site to the facade layout, set a uniform password in the A&C settings, but it wont work.
Should the keypad light up after the VTO starts? And i should hear the "button sounds" to, when I type in the code.

If you run a very old firmware on your VTO2000A-2, you should try to use an older VDPconfig tool to upgrade to V4.3.

Did you try to use another browser?
As I see you are quite experienced with IT stuff, you might try Dahua Console to list complete config (use command "config all") and see admin password.
Don't know if you can reset the blacklisting, as I've never experienced that.

I've never worked with python. But I'm going to give it a try. I test with all browers and the result is admin is in the blacklist.
Is possible flash this file by tftp??

Off course you could flash the firmware once again. The risk in destroying it completely is quite high.
What firmware version is on the device right now? Check it out with dahua toolbox.
Anyhow I don't see a sense in flashing a new fw. It won't change the configuration, so your admin remains blocked.
I'd rather try dahua console (you don't need to have any python knowledge) or do a factory reset.
