On one hand, I agree with you. This is a testament to how pathetic that party is; using old people to their advantage. Another case, Cuomo and the nursing home debacle, is a prime example as well.
However, on the other hand, I have to admit to apathy in this situation. I don’t care what happens to him; this situation points back to him. He spent the last~50 years working in this party and bastardizing our way of life, helping to work on curriculums that take God out of schools, all the while pushing a liberal agenda to include radical religious studies that indoctrinated the children, etc. As shown by my earlier posts, I could go on and on, but I will stop.
To sum it up, I could give three craps less about what happens to him. He (as well as the rest of his cronies/administration) has done nothing in the interest of the American public, only to serve himself and the political party that gave him power. He has no idea what it’s like to wear the flag on the right shoulder and stand to defend the country. We all knew the hoe would take over eventually. The tea leaves are being turned over now. My only prayer is that we can hold on to attempt to take over through upcoming elections and get back to promoting the general welfare of the entire American public. Sorry for the long post.

Don’t get me wrong, like you I hope he rots in hell, lord knows he deserves it. I won’t shed a tear when he expires.

I was simply saying it’s pretty low of the leftist regime to take advantage of the old and senile. And frankly shows just how gullible and shallow most Democrat voters really are.

I don't blame Ted for escaping to warmer climes, but he should have known as an experienced politician that there would be a sh&t storm and a half if it hit the news. Maybe his judgement was clouded by the Mrs and the kids whining. We'll never really know but he sure handed the Marxocrats lots of ammo with it.

Yes sir, I understand. And please know I wasn’t criticizing your statement. I was just pointing out that I think it’s funny that the machine in which he engaged himself for so long is doing the exact same thing to him as he built it to do (weird sentence, hope it makes sense).
But, I do agree; I think that it is ridiculous that a party sinks that low just to stay in power. I’m sure we’re going to see things like that get worse. What I find funny is that eventually, they will all be at his elder state and find themselves being screwed, overridden, and being used just like him.

Just in case you weren’t sure Bill Gates was a racist piece of shit.... and batshit crazy

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is bankrolling an activist educational group that believes math is racist and that arriving at an objective answer is an example of “white supremacy.”

Geez, this turd has been in the news way too much lately. I thought he was more concerned about cows farting and thereby contributing to global warming? Or was it cutting down on herds and creating synthetic beef from a windows computer? If it’s the latter, I must protest; I am a proud member of PETA.

Bill Gates math and other rules as applied to IP cameras:
  • Pick any firmware you want to download to your cameras. Whether it works or not doesn't matter if you feel ok about it.
  • Pick nice looking IP addresses. What they look like is more important than what they are.
  • When you ask us to help get your camera working we won't ask to see your work because that would be racist.
  • When attaching network connectors don't use the racist white wires.
  • White cameras don't matter.

What? So what if he went on a vacation. Just because there is a winter storm of historic significance and lots of people are having problems, does not mean he needs to stay and have the same issues. Why? He is only a Senator. Not like he can go out and fix people's pipes or something. He is a lawmaker not a plumber. What could he possibly do to change things by staying home? Go to a shelter and hand out blankets for a photo op?

Get real.
Have you forgotten how close he came to being defeated in his last race for the senate by a liberal named Robert Francis "Beto" O'Rourke. With Texas turning more and more blue Cruz needs all the help he can get! He is obliviously not a plumber, but he could easily be out here passing out water or food. He could be addressing solutions for an almost broke power grid. He could just be VISIBLE in this time of crisis. He could be a LEADER.

I for one don't want a liberal senator in Texas elected in the near future! Cruz is going out of his way to make that happen. We have got to stop apologizing for the poor decisions of our politicians just because they identify as a Republican. The results of this past presidential election sends an important message to conservatives.

Which part of "using his daughters as scapegoat when confronted" didn't you understand?

You seriously want a man who threw his own daughters under the bus to represent your party?

Thanks @samplenhold That was was very good on the point piece by Sky News Australia

I hope everyone here watches it and passes it around.

Sky News Australia

"It is clear US President Joe Biden is not up to the task he has been “sworn in to do”, according to Sky News host Cory Bernardi. “Never before has the leader of the free world been so cognitively compromised,” Mr Bernardi said “It’s clear to me at the least that US President Joe Biden is struggling with dementia and is clearly not up to the task he’s been sworn in to do.” Mr Bernardi said it is something which was “evident” during the election campaign, but the “partisan and poisonous” mainstream media chose not to highlight anything which could have “derailed a Biden victory”. “Even now, after he has been sworn in, many of them are still refusing to speak the truth about Biden’s lack of capacity.” Joe Biden recently emerged to make his “sanitised” Presidential Town Hall Debut, at which the new president “promptly gave away his teleprompter”. “The result was nothing short of a disaster … it was littered with total falsehoods,” Mr Bernardi said. “It’s all rather pathetic, but even usually smart people are blinded by the nonsense put out by the mainstream media. They believe every perceived sin of Donald Trump while they seem intent on canonizing St. Joe.” "

That is your OPINION. Not a fact. That is the trouble with the news these days. Opinions being treated as facts.

I'm using Ted's carefully chosen words as facts. Is that not good enough for you?

Cruz addressed the trip in a statement on Thursday afternoon.

"With school cancelled for the week, our girls asked to take a trip with friends," he said. "Wanting to be a good dad, I flew down with them last night and am flying back this afternoon..."

I think when you look at the totality of Cruz and his actions , he’s a dedicated conservative who made a political mistake. One of “optics” not one which hurt his constituents nor changed his long standing positions.

God knows it was an ill timed one, but in the big picture, insignificant.

Comparing this episode with what hypocritical liberal “progressive” Democrat trash gets away with on a regular basis is being dishonest.

Some are constantly on the lookout for something to bitch about.

I agree, for those who are pointing their one finger they need to look at the 3 fingers pointing back at themselves. The media is ready to Pounce on anything they can blow up out of portion and exaggerate to push their narrative. This all will blow over like the Winter storm did...

WARNING: Long Post Below :)

Look we were out of power for a total of 52 hours during the storm. We got down to 51 degrees in our house. Wow, so we had to wear a few extra clothes and add a few extra blankets on our bed, wow it was a disaster :), the wife made coffee by boiling water on our gas stove (Where did we put our old camping Percolator :)), oh yeah don't forget matches/lighter to light gas stove, we found out with these newer stove/ovens you cannot use the oven (no more oven knobs) :), so we heated up everything on the burners. Other than hearing other neighbors generators, it was a very nice QUITE experience, got to cuddle with the wife :). We are old school, Zero broken pipes, funny but most all the pipes that broken on our street were from the younger generation, believe it or not about 40% of the homes on our street had busted pipes, crazy huh. One neighbor decided to turn off his water because the neighbor next to him had a busted pipe, WHAT?, so guess what, his pipe busted because he did not drain his pipes. I don't understand the ignorance of the younger generations. I have Never had a pipe bust in all my years, this is my fourth house. All you have to do is monitor the temps in the attics, yeah down South we have water pipes, even water heaters in our attics, except for older homes...Our Winters are mild, I am still wearing shorts in December down here. So if temps in the attic or in house get close to or below freezing I would cut off our water and drain the pipes (Outside Bibs and Tubs), not sure why this is so hard for people to understand. We got down to 11 degrees outside and 40 degrees in our attic and that was with no power/heat. This newer house is better insulated. I ran a small stream of water in the sinks/tubs, just incase while asleep the temps dropped, but only at night. Oh I did get up and flush the toilets every 2-3 hours, but hey at my age no change there, LOL
I know Home Depot/Lowes loves this younger generation :)

You beat me on that. Only 31 hours. Pool pump and plumbing froze. Power went out at 2:30am and it was frozen by 6:30am. Never thought it would freeze that quickly. Don't see any splits, but can't see in the heater. Once it thaws I can better evaluate. It got down to 48 inside for a while. I figured out how to get the gas fireplaces to run on batteries, so that gave us some heat. Filled sinks with hot water that also gave up some heat.

Lost water for about a day. Broke through the pool ice to haul water for toilets. Neighbors did the same from my pool.

Daughter has a broken pipe in her house she rents, so no water. Management company says probably a week before they can get to her as they can't get PVC to fix it. She lives 60 miles south of me.

You just won't stop will you? What are you? I drink no kool-aid and worship no man. I gave a oath to protect the constitution of the Unite States, and I will still do so. If that means I vote Conservative, NO MATTER IF THEY MAKE A MISTAKE, then so be it. Get over yourself....damn. Again, I guess you never made a mistake right? But did his mistake cost life's? Admit it, you really hate Cruz. Its OK....just be honest. I will be honest that I hate Joe and the Hoe, and probably 98% of all Demoncracks and Libtards. See, its easy to be honest.
