yes, 8MP.
I'm on the latest stable BI. Computer is getting old, i7-4790 @ 3.6GHz w/16GB ram.
I record most of the streams continuously.. only a few on movement.
adding up all the cameras is about 38 MP total. I would expect a 15%-20% increase but it's double that.
I've been using BI for about 6 years and think it is a great tool. I have 16 cameras ranging from 960H to 5mp running on a dedicated windows machine. CPU hovers at 50-60%.. life is good. I just picked up an 8K reolink TrackMix to replace an old turret. The camera set up fine (did not test...
removed BI mobile, hard reboot phone, reinstalled... still no dice. Changed the name of device from a 3 word name to 1 word (the one that works is "iphone", other was "my name iphone"), no change. BI will send SMS to other phone so IDK what s up.
tried everything I could think of.. deleted both devices, added back only the offending device and same thing. no push sent, with or without a tag. The "test" alert function returns "test completed"
very odd.
I have no groups defined and swiping L/R does nothing.. it used to advance to the next camera. Swiping up goes to alerts, down goes back to main page.
I sent a support email about it but have not heard anything... it's been a few weeks.
Need a little help. Running latest version of BI, IOS and IOS BI mobile. Trying to get the push notifications to work properly but having an issue with 1 of 2 phones... basically 1 gets them, the other does not. I have them configured the same (different tags though) and can see in the log...
Anything Is better than the huge blind spot I have right now. Even a 1 second delay won’t effect backing up.. still will use common sense, and all that.
I do get the point you are making though. The system is really just to make sure horses are ok.
I'll be careful.. Don't have any camera back there now so anything would be an improvement. I wouldn't think the delay would be much longer than the original wireless set up... are we talking milliseconds?
This is a weird one. I bought a wireless camera system for our horse trailer several years ago. The cameras had small antennas and displayed on a 9" screen. The display had a few channels that we could scroll through for the different feeds: 2 fixed cameras and a battery powered magnetic one...
