Hello, I am new to CCTV. I have a Hikvision DS-7600 series NVR with 16ch and 8x 8mp Hikvision DS-2385FWD cameras professionally installed over a year ago. I wanted to double the number of days of 24/7 recording from about 21+ to 42+ days. I installed and initialized an 8T WD Purple drive and thought all was fine but I checked my recording history and it looks like I still have only 21 days of video, both HDDs are set to RW and seems to be working; but why don't I have double the number of days of video history?
