Actually, the requested feature has nothing to do with the camera and it's AI learning....
All it takes is a simple setting: if I was clearly identified by one of the camera in the backyard, it's ok to disable the IVS push alert from a given group of cams to a given period of time that the user chooses. that's all.
Naturally, to have it work efficiently, the FD attempts frequency should be higher (now, there is no point to keep detecting every second or so but if that feature is introduced, it gives a good intensive to increase the FD attempts).
Such a feature could turn a useless FR to become very useful.

Since I do not expect Dahua to put an effort to add such a simple feature (and sell more AI NVR's by that), I would very much like to get the latest API of the NVR and cams in order to improve what I already have with Python programing.

Hi, first time I was offered to do a FW upgrade by Dahua (OTA) and not from @EMPIRETECANDY
I'm currently using build date 2021-07-27 and the new build is 4.002.0000000.1.R.220211
Did anyone try it? anyone else got the OTA?
 
Just did a manual check, still on build date 2021-07-10 system version 4.001.0000000.3. Says i'm on the latest version which i got OTA last year. I'm in the UK, so will look out for the new version. Cheers.

You were working with a build that was few days older than mine. I guess that when they realize that they need to make another change few days later on - it means that they realize that they had serious bugs.
How is the new version? any changes? I'm asking even though by the time you'd answer I'd probably know the answer already.
 
Hi Arnon, the only changes i can see are :- in camera list there is now a "Plug and Play "switch and also a tab saying "Not auto Connected". In AI there is now a "report query" drop down which shows Face statistics graph and in parameters a "face and body detection " button. In Alarm there is now "Disarming" drop down. In Maintain there is now "intelligent Diagnosis" . Everything else looks the same. I actually downloaded your old version 2022. 07. 27, but after i did that that, it said i had another download, which was the latest one. It must of realised there was a newer version and prompted me.

I did the upgrade yesterday. I believe that most if not all the the features you've mentioned were already introduced with the 20220727 FW so I can't find anything new. Some of the settings (such a FR) were cleared so I had to set them again but all in all it's more or less the same.
 
Did any one noticed LAN 2 NETWORK LOAD not showing any more however LAN 1 is showing - after upgrade to 4.002.0000000.1.R.220211
 
Make a default after you finish the update.
 
I have this DHI-NVR5216-16P-I NVR and it says it has an OTA update.

I bought this NVR from Andy and I didn't see this firmware posted 4.002.0000000.2.R.220727. It makes me hesitant about loading it.

What do you guys think?
