Problem installing IPC-T54IR-ZE -- Default Port & IP?

^^^^^. I have never had to use the config tool as TheOtherMike stated, just point your browser to 192.168.1.108 and set it up. My home networks are different but I keep a throw down router set to 192.168.1.xxx that I connect to when setting up new cameras and when some resets are done.

Where are video alerts after current recording?

Not a solution but if you cut those clips from 8 hours to 1 hour it would be easier to find points of interest if needed. Also an 8 hour clip limited to 4 GB could be problematic. Also, I record Video (continuous) but not JPEGS as I don't have a need for them. Other than that, my setup is the...

Need help configuring Amcrest 5MP Turret POE camera in Blue Iris

Not sure this applies as I do continuous recording where you are only recording alerts but check "video file format and and compression" box from the "Record" tab and see if the "Direct-to-disk..." is checked.

    Electrical Inspection Wall Of Shame

That gave me a flashback from 1973 when in Panama City FL, one could but a new 60 foot non insulated "trailer house" for $2000 and when the washing machine spin cycle was out of balance, the feeling was similar to a typical earthquake.

Dual NIC setup on your Blue Iris Machine

Countless times I have made the mistake of plugging and logging into a new camera from the 192.168.1.x NIC#1, changed the IP to 10.x.x.x to match NIC#2 THEN forget to remove the camera and plug into NIC#2 and wonder why I cant login. Simple procedure but I goof up quite regularly.

    Eclipse April 8th. 2024

I pulled the dome off of a PTX425DB-AT and placed a eclipse lens over the camera lens and recorded the attached video. The clouds moved in so this is all I was able to capture. It was sped up 8 times. Located midway between Houston and Dallas.

Is there a 180 degree horizontal and around 90 degree vertical IP camera that's under, say $300

FYI Annke is made by Hikvision but is not the same company. Note that it comes in bullet and turret versions and they do have plastic bodies but hold up quite well. Order from Annke USA and do not try to save a couple bucks by ordering from others such as Aliexpress. Blueiris works well with...

Is there a 180 degree horizontal and around 90 degree vertical IP camera that's under, say $300

The Annke FCD600 have an 81 degree vertical FOV. I have some and can confirm that it looks like 90 degree to me. Their NCD600 only has 54 degree vertical. The FCD600 does a pretty decent job but not as well with night color as the NCD or Empiretech's full color 180 camera but are well worth...

From the photo, you should be able to use an ohm meter to check what pins correspond to each wire with the little bit of wiring remaining on that female RJ45 plug.

I would take advantage of that space in the box itself and see no need for using a weatherproof box. A dab of dielectric grease on the connections.

    Remote/Wireless POE Switch?

    Remote/Wireless POE Switch?

The Nanostation LOCO M5 sold by BHP for $67. comes with the 24v passive Poe injector. The LOCO AC for $49. does not include the injector. The M5 is old school in that it has 10/100 Ethernet where the AC is gigabit.
