[tool] [tutorial] Free AI Person Detection for Blue Iris

TLDR: Old Deepstack good, CodeProject AI bad. Over the last couple weeks I've been testing out versions of Deepstack and CPAI. I even bought a new GPU, a RTX A2000 12GB, to replace my Quadro P400 to see if the limiting factor for me with CPAI was my 2GB Pascal series P400. So far it appears it...

    CodeProject.AI Version 2.5

Im still working with an old version of BI, with latest version of AIToo,l and 1st GPU version of Deepstack, which for me, is rock solid reliable.... (2nd Deepstack GPU version has a memory leak.) I figured enough time passed to work out all the issues with CPAI so I started testing last week...

[tool] [tutorial] Free AI Person Detection for Blue Iris

Is it possible to run multiple instances of CodeProject AI like it is Deepstack? Ive been using Deepstack all this time running 4 instances at once but figured CPAI has been around long enough to be a better option but with my first testing I cant see how to run multiple instances of the same...

    The Power of Bitcoin

@CCTVCam you should look into hardware wallets. Trezor would be my suggestion. And about becoming Illegal... BlackRock got a spot Bitcoin ETF approved in January. Now you can buy Bitcoin with your IRA or 401k. Its not going anywhere. Bitcoin's already breaking ATH's before the halving. It's...

    BlueIris compatible doorbell camera recomendations

Whats the deal with the "newish" UniFi G4 Pro? I saw that its finely in stock and was looking here yesterday to see if there were more than one or two people using it but couldn't find anything. 4 and 5 letter words or less dont work well in search so I may have just missed it. Please, someone...

Who is using Axis cameras because they're not Chinese?

Money would be better spent on a firewall. e.g. Netgate 4100, 6100, or 8200.

VPN Access works on WiFi, not LAN

just a guess... open vpn gives a IP on a different subnet than the subnet your using for your LAN. OpenVPN ip might be like 192.168.30.1 when LAN is on 192.168.0.1 and that subnet isn't in your BI allowed list. Or your firewall prevents subnets from talking to each other. Im just guessing here...

Trying to figure out how to safely remotely view my blue iris system.

I apologize if what I wrote this morning @ 6:33am came off abrasive. I have to be out the door by 6:40 and I didn't mean for it to be like that. I was just in a rush but reading it back I feel I should clarify. What I was trying to say is in order to do things like the big boys and have a...

Trying to figure out how to safely remotely view my blue iris system.

Buy a domain name from some where like Name Cheap. Using pfSense, set up the dynamic DNS client built in pfSense and hook it up by api to a DNS provider like Cloud Flare. Then create a wild card SSL Cert using LetsEncrypt. Then set up some A records with your DNS provider (Cloud Flare, ect.)...

    I caught me a Looky-loo

Damn... Look at those domination lines... Nice work sir. If it hadn't rained here as much as it has over the last two weeks I'd be dominating my neighbors right now too. What grass type are your working with? Im growing St. Augustine so I cant get as good of stripes as you have but its thick...

Server Build for Blue Iris + AI — Sanity Check

Personally, Id go with a "newish" Blacked out HP Elitedesk 800 G6 with the i5 and a M.2 SSD for the OS, give it 64gb of RAM and a Nvidia Quadro T600 or a RTX A2000. WD Purple 14-18GB for BI video and a 1tb for Images for AI since the HP holds two 3.5" drives. Then I'd get two rack shelfs, one to...

Server Build for Blue Iris + AI — Sanity Check

Is this for a house or business? If for personal use at home I wouldnt build a rack mount server for BI. I was going to do that but after months of research the size server rack I'd need was not going to work for me or the smaller size server chassis was not going to work so I gave up on that...

    The Power of Bitcoin

This is what I do. I'm no tourist. I'm a HTF (High Time Frame) ponzi trader. I mined Ethereum through two bulls and one bear and I've done as well as I could have ever hoped. I've been bullish on Bitcoin since 2012 and ETH since 2017. The next Bitcoin halving will be here in less than 10 months...

YooSee SD-M5 doorbell: 1080p, PoE, RTSP, Onvif, only $66

Its been a long time since I've had to edit the cofig on this door bell. I've been converting all my notifications over to Home Assistant over the last few months so last night I decided to tackle changing my notifications on button press from the SD-M5 that I have sending an image to PushOver...
