I still didn't check the costs until the end, but before I go with something, I will do some research. For Synology I think it's 1 time license. And for BI it's one time payment, or if you want updates then you need to pay yearly payment.

I assume it's always prefer to get the latest update software, no? Bugs fixes, security, etc. And what about the HDD, also costs money, no? (where in the NAS I already have them)

I saw their licenses prices, yes, it's quite high, for 8 licenses it's can be $400-$500, I gonna use Xpenology, it's the Synology software on my hardware, so I don't know if it's comes with 2 free licenses (I still need to check it), But if I will run BlueIris, I also need some machine/computer...
